The Story: My mother-in-law got me a sketchbook as a gift and I have been slowly using the pages to test different layouts, color combinations, or simply just having some fun throwing some paint on the page and seeing what comes out. The last option is what caused this loose, colorful scene to come to life. I often struggle finding a balance between being too detailed and letting the paint express itself. This is hopefully my first of many like it celebrating the essence of a scene.
