The Story: Another from my sketchbook series! Kaia was the most adventure loving gal who spent her 14 years of life taking every opportunity I gave her to just enjoy every moment. No matter what we were doing, she was so happy and brought anyone else we saw immediate joy. The reference photo for this was taken after we had spent the day at the lake and had come home to hang out in the back yard. She had just finished very enthusiastically digging a hole when she proudly strutted over to enthusiastically show me her success. I laughed, she wagged her tail and gave me an excited "awooo" to celebrate. It is moments like these that will forever bring me joy.
