Grammy's Paintings | The Covered Bridge

Going through my Grampa's house as he was getting ready to be moved into an assisted living facility, the topic of my Grammy's paintings quickly became the hot topic in the cousin group chat (there's a LOT of us). Our Grammy was... everything. The kindest, most loving, and strongest woman you could imagine. She would do anything for her family. I remember spending countless days eating cucumber sandwiches with her, running around their wrap-around deck, playing with the laundry shoot, getting yelled at for all of us jumping on the guest bed... sigh.

Needless to say, her paintings and her art are a cherished part of our family. This is one of her paintings that my dad has that I couldn't help but recreate. I thought "what better way to keep them close than to try painting Grammy's art." If you know me, I love a winter scene and I love a barn-like structure. I am 90% sure I know the exact covered bridge this was meant to capture back home in Southern Vermont. I kept coming back to the picture of it and finally... it became a page in my journal.

I was hesitant to post this as a print option until a cousin reached out hoping for a print. So for a limited time - Grammy's Covered Bridge is available in a handful of sizes. The narrower crops are definitely the way to go!
